Kiamichi Owa-Chito Festival of the Forest
The annual festival showcases everything from the historical logging industry to Native American dance and song. It is a three day event with many family friendly and educational activities. A wide range of competitions related to logging, such as axe throwing, occur throughout the weekend. Live music, from Rock and Roll to Gospel, and a fine art show also make up the festival.
Masters at Work Competition & Exhibition
Woodturning at it's best. An annual competition and show, woodturners turn raw wood into fine art. Visitors can watch this process from beginning to end. Awards are given at the end of the competition.
Beavers Bend Folk Festival & Craft Show
Enjoy watching a blacksmith or candle maker at their craft, the old fashion way. Listen to real Bluegrass and Folk music while enjoying a bag of freshly made kettle corn. A petting zoo, hay rides, and live story telling are just a few of the family friendly activities you wil find at the event. This festival typically occurs while the foliage is in peak Fallcolor.
